Patient Navigator Professional Certificate

A patient navigator is an emerging role in the health care industry. It can exist as a standalone role or as a function of a regulated health care professional's role, within an organization or in private practice.

The Patient Navigator Professional Certificate is designed to prepare individuals to be functional “translator” of the language and systems of healthcare, and effective liaisons between individuals and health care professionals. They are prepared to implement or integrate a model to help individuals navigate the health care system for complex and chronic health needs, understand their recommended treatment options, and identify and access available resources to bridge gaps in care

You will earn a certificate of completion and 1-2 digital badges upon completion of each course. When you have completed all the required courses and passed the evaluative experiential learning module, you will be eligible for a Patient Navigator Professional Certificate.
